Amy
B.V.Sc.
Amy grew up in regional QLD with her childhood best friend, Cairn Terrier, Angus. From the tender age of 4 she had aspirations of being a Vet which later became a reality. Amy has since spent her days as a Veterinarian practising in rural Qld focusing in small animals’ health and welfare.
Amy loves all animals but her poodle fascination started with her Uni study companion, Chiefy. This continued several years later with the addition of Noodle and then Noodle’s litter of 6 amazing poodle puppies.
Being a mother of two beautiful boys herself, Amy’s special interest is in caring for the expectant mother and the special care needed for neonates.
Amy loves the rural lifestyle which allows for a greater range of animals in her life including cattle, horses, cats and of course dogs. She thrives on being a Vet and believes all animals deserve to be cared for and respected as individuals especially in times of vulnerability. It is in her blood to promote the health and welfare of animals encouraging the best possible life for them all.

Lisa has been passionate about animals all her life. For her 5th birthday she was given a tiny orphaned 3 day old fox terrier pup to raise and care for - the start of a mutual devotion that would last for the next 15 yrs. By the time she was 12 yrs old she ran a registered pedigree guinea pig stud and was showing and breeding 4 different breeds of Cavies.
Her love of dogs always shone through and led to many years of fostering dogs and dog obedience training. During her teenage years, Lisa worked as a Veterinary Assistant before making Diagnostic Radiography her chosen career. She specialised in Emergency Imaging and then Computed Tomography.
Whilst progressing in her career as a Medical Imaging Technologist across the public and private sector, her passion was still with animals. In the late 1990’s she became involved with the introduction of Boer Goats to QLD and alongside the University of Qld ran a program to improve the genetics of meat goats. In order to keep her stud safe from predators she enlisted the help of the then rare breed, Maremma Sheepdogs. Being ambitious (and with a sense of humour, if you are familiar with Maremmas) she proceeded to work, show and obedience train her Maremma family. Impressed with the ability of the breed as a stock guardian and with camaraderie of fellow Maremma breeders, the Maremma Sheepdog Club of Qld went on to promote the breed towards the success it is recognised for today.
Whilst the Maremmas were a big part of her life, there was still room for rescue dogs, followed by someone special - her first pedigree miniature poodle - Maddison. Maddison was the result of a dream to be owned by a poodle (the exact opposite of the working Maremmas). After much research and finding a well respected breeder, Maddison arrived being every bit as perfect as a dream of a poodle could be. However by the age of 3 she started to develop health concerns and went on to contend with multiple conditions throughout her life. She lived for 15 years with much love and care but also with medications, tests, hospital stays and surgeries. From that day forward, Lisa has made it her life goal to utilised the technology we now have available to breed dogs who can live long healthy lives.
Lisa has since left her career as a Medical Imaging Technologist to pursue her love of dogs and the development of a breeding program to take advantage of the genetic testing available and the research in puppy development to give Savoire Faire dogs the best life possible.
Having a nationally recognised qualification in Animal Behaviour and Training, Lisa specialises in puppy development and positive reinforcement training.
